I build things that ship,

and stay useful after launch.

I'm Mehbub — based in Kolkata — a final-year B.Tech student and FSE who builds products end to end and cares about keeping them maintainable long after launch.

I'm a GSoC '26 contributor with UC OSPO, building a dynamic sensor dashboard for environmental data, and an FSE at House of EdTech (remote) where I work on billing systems, real-time market integrations, and production infrastructure. I'm also active in open source — from maintaining projects in programs like Apertre to shipping side projects like L-Mic and ClueFind.

On the frontend I work with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. On the backend I reach for Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Prisma, Supabase, and AWS. Comfortable across the stack and focused on building things that are simple to ship and easy to maintain — with an eye on performance and UX that still makes sense when something breaks.

I'm Curious, Pragmatic, Obsessed with detail, and a Solver when something breaks in production.

Outside of code, I like travel, good books, and the occasional over-engineered side project.
